Justice of the Peace

I became a Justice of the Peace in January 2021.  I am open and flexible when it comes to my  officiating at weddings. I will work with you to ensure the day is focused on what you would like to occur. I am open to same sex, different races and ethnicities, couples of diversity. previously married. I have experience with blended families.

I am open to working with others who will be providing services at your wedding, ie. DJ, caterers, inside or outside establishments, and anyone else involved with your wedding. The day is about you and what you want to see occur. I will do my best to ensure you are satisfied with my officiating. I will perform my services at elopements or at any size wedding you are planning. I will work with whatever budget you have. I don\’t want you to stress about finances on the most important day of your life.

My intention is to make you feel comfortable with my services. In order to do that, I would want to meet with you in advance so if you have any questions, I will be happy to answer them. The meeting in advance helps me to get to know you better and to learn what you would like me to do at your wedding.

So you know about me, I have been married since September 18 2004. I am active in my town on issues of inclusivity. I have three daughters, one who is 15 years old, 10 years old, and 9 years old. My two youngest ones are biracial. They were placed in our care when they were 3 months and 16 months. We have since adopted them. We are strong believers in the more family the better so I pursued contact with their aunt, who has raised the biological parents\’ other children. I have served on the board of the National Foster Parents Association. I work professionally with foster families, more focused recently on kinship and individuals who are willing to take in specific children who they have strong bonds to. If you are a foster parent, I will give you a discount on the rate for my services. I have been a social worker for more than 27 years.

I am a member if the Justice of the Peace Association. I believe in the importance of their Code of Ethics. I have experience working with families of diversity and respect all individuals for the gifts they are to society. Each person should be respected for who they are.

I hope this provides some information into whom I am as a person. I hope you will decide to connect with me. It would be such an honor to officiate at your wedding. If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to call me. I look forward to working with you to make your day as special as the couple you both are.
