Commissioner Steven R. Mullins has served as Justice of the Peace since 1999. Since then, he has joined thousands of couples in marriage throughout the State of Connecticut.

A longtime civil servant and community and political leader, Commissioner Mullins is Chairman of the City of West Haven Fair Rent Commission. He also served sixteen years as Planning and Zoning Commissioner in the City and served six years as Chairman or Vice Chairman of the Board.

Commissioner Mullins has served as a volunteer firefighter in West Haven’s Allingtown Borough for over twenty years. He is President of the West Haven Chapter of Lions Club International and is Past Master of Annawon Lodge, #115 Ancient Free and Accepted Masons of West Haven.

Commissioner Mullins is a communicant of the Episcopal Church of the Holy Spirit in West Haven and is a married father of a college age daughter and a teenage son.
