Carolyn Hill-Bjerke was appointed as a Justice of the Peace for the Town of Weston in January 2025. She is a published and award-winning poet, and the author of Things I Don’t Want To Talk About available on Amazon. A certified Reiki Healer through the Open Center in SoHo NYC (2009), Carolyn brings a cal and intuitive presence to every ceremony. Her work as a healer and poet naturally informs her role as a Justice of the Peace– each service is crafted with care, meaning, and respect for the couple’s unique spirit.

Carolyn considers herself spiritual rather than aligned with a single religion. She often attends both Catholic and Episcopal services and honors all paths to love and light. Her first given name, Miriam, is one of the most ancient Hebrew names — a reminder of her own reverence for tradition and the sacred power of names.

She looks forward to helping couples step joyfully through the threshold into marriage.
