Justice of the Peace: Kathleen Taylor

Kathleen Taylor

Justice of the Peace, Notary

I have been performing Weddings since 1991.  570 + Weddings and I still love it!

I have been performing weddings as a Justice of the Peace since 1991 and still thoroughly enjoy it.  My ceremony choices are very personal and traditional.

I enjoy meeting each Couple to get acquainted, and will provide sample wedding ceremonies, as well as choices of Vows, Ring Exchanges, and Readings.

After years of experience, I have put together informational documents, which will help your wedding day go smoothly:

  • \\\”Frequently Asked Questions About Getting Married by a Wedding Officiant\\\”
  • \\\”Wedding Day Tips.\\\”

Feel free to include any special readings, or ceremonies such as:  The Unity Candle, Sand Ceremony or Three Strand Ceremony.

Some of my favorite wedding venues are:

  • Avon Old Farms Hotel
  • Simsbury Inn
  • Farmington Club
  • Ethel Walker Chapel
  • Wood Acres Farm
  • Simsbury 1820 House

My top goal is to help you relax during the Wedding Ceremony.

This is Your Special Day – Enjoy!

“We chose Kathy to be our JP and we couldn’t have been happier. She was very thorough with our rehearsal, going through the whole process twice to make sure we all understood. She even taught us a “chicken wing” move (you’ll have to find out). She was very enthusiastic, and excited to be a part of our special day. She led us with many sample ceremonies and let us customize everything the way we wanted. You won’t be disappointed with Kathy. We are so happy!”
