As your Justice Of The Peace. traveling throughout Ct., my goal will be to create a ceremony that you’ll remember forever ~ one that feels effortless, elegant and uniquely yours. With years of experience performing on stage, I have a sense of timing, presence and connection ~ all of which make a big difference when delivering your ceremony. I know how to bring words to life, ease nerves, and make sure every moment feels natural and memorable. Giggles and tears are usually involved ~ no worries, I supply tissues !
The process starts with you reaching out via email or phone call . If available, we will set up a meeting with both of you either on Zoom, another phone call or a selected location to get to know each other . ( I’m a total romantic and love hearing your stories) . It’s so interesting to hear the love backstories of where you met, what drew you to each other and what you are hoping for being married. Often, couples decide to read their unique love backstory as part of the ceremony . ( That’s where the tissues sometimes appear.) It’s not mandatory but always heartfelt.
After our meeting, I will then send a contract to hold the date and require 1/2 the fee for your wedding the other half will be due the day of your wedding. Following return of the contract and fee, I will then send sample ceremonies & readings that are civil and spiritual or prior ceremonies if it is a quick turnaround date for your wedding date. You let me know what you like and I’ll put it all together for your approval.
I’ll take care of all the details so you can relax, breathe, and truly enjoy your wedding day !

Wow ! Leslie is a gem. We are so happy she officiated our wedding. After being frustrated with the pandemic and just wanting to be married, Leslie suggested an intimate ceremony at the beach. She sent us multiple ceremonies and readings and also helped us with our vows. Leslie created THE MOST PERFECT ceremony for us. She is so friendly and optimistic and the definite person you want with you on your wedding day. We absolutely HIGHLY recommend Leslie Orofino, Justice Of The Peace.
All I can say is WOW. Leslie Orofino is an amazing Justice Of The Peace. We wanted to have a party for our recommitment ceremony for our 40th anniversary. We wanted it to be meaningful and memorable but not too formal. Leslie was the best ,
gently suggesting some fantastic readings to choose from, providing structure for the ceremony itself, and deftly incorporating specific things we asked for. Our friends and family were so impressed with her and how it hit all the right notes for the occasion. Leslie far exceeded our expectations and our celebration was everything and so much MORE !
Leslie did an amazing job performing our ceremony. Her poise, personality and caring, loving manner made the day less stressful and delightful on this special day ! She went above and beyond before the ceremony and after making sure everything was going to be perfect and it was. She is a first class act !!! Absolutely fabulous !!!
From our first meet and conversations with Leslie Orofino she was so down to earth. She spoke to me and made me and my wife feel so completely comfortable and important about how we should feel on our special day. The day of our ceremony she was prompt and hung out with our family and had such a great sense of humor. The ceremony was tailored just for us and we now feel as though she is part of our family. I spoke with several JP’s before I met Leslie and I have to say nobody was as nice and helpful as she was. From our very first conversation Leslie made me feel comfortable. I was very nervous and wasn’t sure how things would work out. She answered all of my questions, was very knowledgeable, professional and friendly. She was always very responsive both by phone and email. She made our little ceremony very special and totally understood our needs and visions. A great experience.
Leslie Orofino was wonderful ! We had to change the date of our wedding and decided to go ahead and just get married anyway. My first call was to Leslie. She made the trip to our home and married us and it was everything and more. I gave her just one week notice and she showed up , totally prepared and ready to go. We were in constant communication about the ceremony and I would not have wanted it any other way. I recommend Leslie Orofino highly ! During these stressful times it is so comforting to know there is a Justice Of The Peace that really cares and is ready to help. Thank you Leslie Orofino.
