Justice of the Peace: Lisa Walker

Lisa Walker

Tampa, FL

Greetings! My name is Lisa Walker. I am originally a Tennessee girl, but have been living in South Florida for over 20 years now. Over the years I have worked in various careers. Retail, Childcare, Insurance, but they all involve the one thing that is my passion; to help and connect people. That passion is what has led me to marrying people. Not only am I getting to legally connect people, I get to connect with people and be a part of the beautiful thing that is LOVE! Being an active participant and helping couples design their ceremony to ensure that their special day exceeds their expectations fills my heart with joy! When I’m not working on a ceremony you can find me enjoying time with my loved ones, relaxing by the pool, or hanging out at the beach. I enjoy various hobbies such as writing, cooking, painting, and am always eager to learn new ones!

I can’t say enough about this organization. I was just toying with the idea of becoming an “official” JP- about a month ago, so I asked to join this group to find out a little bit more information Loretta messaged me and the rest is history. I became a member and the very next week booked my first wedding!!! I have booked 5 weddings so far and I am only doing this part time. I have already officiated two ceremonies.
I attended the conference in March. Game changer! So much information, I couldn’t write fast enough!! Everyone that was a presenter was professional and so full of useful knowledge, yet so down to earth and eager to share. I’m thankful I was able to be a part of it. I look forward to many more opportunities to interact with other JP’s and Loretta. I encourage anyone that may be on the fence about becoming a member…. climb on over!! It is worth it!
