I have been a Justice of the Peace since 2001.

I have officiated many weddings, both large and small, at many different venues and enjoy working with couples to write and perform the ceremony of their dreams. I am a retired school counselor and educator who works comfortably and successfully with all people. I can provide you with a relaxed and joyous ceremony anywhere in Connecticut. I’m looking forward to working with you to plan your ceremony. I have reasonable rates and am happy to work with your budget.

After  you decide to retain me as your JP, I will send you a sample ceremony to read.  We can change this ceremony any way you like.  I encourage you to write vows to each other and include them in the ceremony.  This makes the ceremony unique and personal.  Likewise, asking a special friend or relative to read a poem, sing, or just say a few words personalizes the ceremony.  Youngsters and grandparents are perfect to do this.  However, if you want a short no frills ceremony, I am happy to oblige.

I always wear a simple black outfit for your ceremony. It looks professional and does not take the focus off you. I arrive early to collect your documents unobtrusively. I encourage you to text me or call me as frequently as you like. I can answer many of your questions and if I can’t, I will know where to direct you. I have been performing weddings for over a decade and feel very comfortable with doing so.  I have officiated in venues from backyards and beaches to large hotels and banquet halls. I am happy to work with your wedding planner and DJ or simply with you.  I look forward to meeting new clients.
