Tiffany Zwart
Deep River, CT
I have been in the wedding industry as an event planner since 2008 and the hospitality/
Service industry since 1995!
2020 had brought a great year of growth and opportunity to pivot and explore. I decided to
become an officiant in April 2020 and I have found such great joy in this role, perhaps my
favorite of all the roles I have ever played in the wedding industry! I have really loved being
an important part of the intimate weddings and elopements 2020 brought. My
latest endeavor has allowed me to become a Justice of the Peace in the Town of Deep River.
With my services, I can get involved with the planning process as much or as little as
needed.
I am an avid hiker. My ideal officiating gig would be to climb a mountain top at sunrise and
perform the ceremony as the sun breaks the horizon! Goals!
I also love the arts! I am a member of the Scottish Sunday
Shakespeare Society which is a meeting of a group of thespians from all over the world that reads
Shakespeare’s plays on Zoom. So… I am a bit of a nerd.
I am a dual citizen and not only am an American Citizen but also a citizen of the U.K. ( no I
don’t have an accent 🙁 ) I have wanderlust and LOVE to travel. I hope to be able to continue
traveling and officiating and planning weddings in the United Kingdom.
I absolutely love any ceremonies that give a nod to ancestry , culture and heritage! Happy
to explore this more with you! I tend to lean towards anything that is vintage and old
world. I also love a bit of folklore and whimsey!
I am also a huge advocate and ALLY for our LGBTQ community. Fighting for their rights
and helping in performing their wedding ceremonies is one of the reasons I became an
officiant.
Philanthropy is where my heart is and with the down time that the wedding industry and
I am lucky to have been able to spend more time doing what I love-
finding myself constantly involved-working in our community, gathering coats for Food
Not Bombs for the homeless or fostering puppies! HELPING is what I love most. A passion
of mine. Living a life of service to humanity is where my heart soars. I am also a part of the International Rotary and serve on the board for our local Tri-Town Youth Services.
Mother Theresa and Mr. Rogers are the two I would like to sit down to dinner with.
I am honored and grateful to speak to you further about your celebration!
Warmly,
Tiffany

I could not be more eager to leave a GLOWING review for Tiffany! In addition to being a genuinely kind, welcoming and gracious person, she is a wonderful display of poise and professionalism. She is thoughtful throughout the ceremony planning process – from the initial conversation to the first kiss – she makes EVERYONE feel comfortable. She immediately puts hearts & minds at ease.
As a wedding planner, it is my honor and pleasure to guide couples throughout their engagement & planning process – a large part of this is advocating for them and supporting them in making sound decisions. Recommending and hiring Tiffany to assist, guide and execute the ceremony for my couple was the BEST DECISION YET!
If you are engaged, reach out to Tiffany! Take a few minutes to meet an individual who is just as excited about your ceremony as you are. She is committed to making sure that your very special, intimate & important exchange of vows and rings is everything you deserve. Evan Chestnutt , Owner of One for the Books Events
