Some Favorite Venues

  • The Hangar at Danbury Airport may satisfy the inner-pilot in you, and is only one of the venue options at New Milford’s Candlelight Farms Inn
  • Brookfield’s Candlewood Inn on Candlewood Lake can accommodate large crowds of 300, or a small gathering or elopement.
  • Trendy and fun, Hopkins Vineyard Winery, in Warren, overlooks Lake Waramaug. Family owned and operated for two centuries, it was converted from a dairy farm in 1979.
  • Haystack Mountain State Park in Norfolk has trails covered with Mountain Laurel. June ceremonies benefit from the blooms and sweet smell of their blossoms. For the more adventurous nuptials, a short hike to the 34 foot high stone tower at the summit gives views of the Berkshire and Green Mountains. (Yes! Many of our JPs will hike with you!  Check out their profiles to find the best fit for you.)
  • Public parks, beaches and walking paths abound the area. Many have lovely gazebos and scenic areas, ideal for a ceremony.
