Our first virtual conference is powered by Accelevents and can be attended via computer, tablet or mobile device. Answers to general questions about the conference can be found below. If you are new to online conferences like ours, Accelevents has provided an introduction to virtual events.

I’m a Speaker in a session, what do I do?

As a speaker, you will need to access the Accelevents Backstage link to be able to start your live broadcast. Instructions are here to earn the steps from start to end on how to join an event as a speaker.

Note: Chrome is the preferred browser to access the event page, virtual event hub and backstage studio link. However, when using an iPhone or an iPad, Safari might work better.

I am a Speaker. How do I access the studio?

After you have been assigned to your session, you will click the “My Talks” button and then click the “Start Your Talk” button. This video will walk through how to enter the Studio & begin their session!

How do I share my screen?

Speakers and presenters often want to share their screen, PowerPoint or application window in their session. Doing this so you can still view and reply to chats, conduct polls, have Q&A and have other interactive engagement with participants is important. The trick is, don’t use PowerPoint in full-screen mode. These instructions explain how.

FAQs – Exhibitors

Exhibitors are vendors who will be present during the conference to share information about services beneficial to marriage officiants and municipal clerks.

I’m an Exhibitor at the conference, what do I do?

Once receiving access to the event via email, click the Access the Account button found in your email to finish signing up & setting your password. If you do NOT have a password yet, just enter one to create it. Learn how to access your booth to set it up. Instructions for exhibitors are available here.

How do I live stream as an Exhibitor?

Learn how to set up live streaming in your booth to have video calls with attendees. The exhibitor booth allows you to showcase your content as an exhibitor and allows you to interact with anyone who enters your booth. With live streaming, you are able to set-up one-on-one meetings, too.

FAQs – General

Do I need to download software or an app?

No – The event is viewable in a web browser. The minimum requirements to present… [an event include a supported device (list below), built-in or connected speakers for sound, and a high-speed internet or cellular connection]. If you plan to participate via voice or video, you will also require a microphone and webcam.

Supported Devices

Personal Computers (PC, MAC, etc), Tablet, or Mobile Device running a supported Operating system. While cell phones and tablets are supported, we strongly recommend using the Accelevents Studio on a PC as the platform accommodates better in medium-sized or large-sized screens. This will provide the most optimal user experience.

*NOTE* Kindle Fire Devices are not supported at this time.
